Job Description
Responsibilities

The Client Team is a category-based client focused group within the NBCU Ad Sales Organization. The Client Team's role is to ensure NBCU is best positioned to deliver on client's business objectives/priorities, by maximizing the power of the Comcast/NBCUniversal portfolio of assets. This role develops key relationships and builds value with clients and agencies at scale.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Support and Lead CPG client development and drive a consultative selling strategy for Comcast/NBCUniversal portfolio of assets
• Identify, build, and maintain trusted relationships with individuals from across client list at all levels of the organization from C-Suite executives to day-to-day media and brand managers
• Steward NBCUniversal sales efforts across specific CPG clients to ensure NBCU sales organization is orientated to maximize sales opportunities with clients and develop appropriate solutions to solves their business challenges
• Apply strategic leadership, internally and externally, as to how Comcast/NBCU platforms and assets can turn a client's brand positioning into a fully realized marketing and media investment at scale
• Deep dive on CPG client business imperatives and marketplace challenges
• Utilize client expertise to provide sales organization with a broader understanding of the CPG marketplace and client's business and marketing strategy
• Oversee business assessment, positioning and success metrics on designated accounts
• Represent NBCUniversal portfolio in the marketplace with clients and agencies
• Identify opportunities for monetization from Comcast/NBCUniversal capabilities and assets beyond NBCUniversal traditional media assets
• Manage team of 3-4 people and work effectively in a matrixed role within organization
One Platform Storytelling
• Evolve the GTM story throughout the year and tailor/customize for CPG category and clients
• Ensure all Clients are educated on offerings and products and uncover specific opportunities that meet their specific challenges

Positioning
• Partner with Multi-Cultural Brand Advocacy teams and Client Strategy to build custom narrative for each Client

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in media industry with sales and marketing, client or agency background.

Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• Willingness to travel and work overtime

Desired Characteristics:
• Deep understanding of linear and digital media landscape
• Proven success managing and working with CPG clients
• Strong project management and meeting facilitation skills
• Skilled in understanding how marketplace economic conditions impact media and marketing plan development
• Broad knowledge of media landscape and competitive set.
• Proven list of key client and agency relationships
• Deep understanding of strategic approach to media plan development
• Understanding of business drivers within various ad categories, and the ability to connect to media strategy and solutions
• Successful leadership experience and demonstration of ability to work well across an organizational matrix
• Documented success building, managing, and retaining high-performance teams
• Excellent executive-level presentation, leadership and interpersonal skills, management consulting experience a plus
• Strong communication skills.
