Responsibilities
NBCUniversal's Advertising Platforms & Operations team is responsible for the product development, project management, and day-to-day operations of NBCUniversal's full advertising technology suite. The division services both internal and external customers in support of NBCUniversal's $8B annual advertising business.

The Customer Solutions team within Advertising Platforms & Operations is responsible for the development and distribution of the products that make up NBCUniversal's AdSmart advanced advertising suite. We are tightly integrated with the Platform Solutions, Data Architecture, Supply Enablement, and Product Marketing teams and regularly work with Technology and Operations. The VP, Optimization, will focus on data-driven advertising products, including linear, and cross-platform capabilities for national and local. These data-driven advertising solutions are paramount in sustaining and growing NBCUniversal's Advertising & Partnerships.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Evaluate the optimization capabilities for NBCUniversal, assuming management of existing capabilities and the development of new products
• Marketplace thought leadership
• OpenAP participation and adoption into the NBCUniversal product stack
• Utilization of Comcast set-top box data, other viewership data, and third-party data sets
• Distill complex media, advertising, and technology concepts into clear and simple executive communications
• Develop timeline and roadmap and communicate technical and marketing needs to respective teams
• Partner with sales teams to help contribute global capabilities to client solutions
• Provide training when necessary
• Act as a subject matter expert in the area of privacy requirements

Qualifications/Requirements
• 10+ years of experience working in the digital/TV advertising vertical
• Familiarity with data sets including Nielsen, Comscore, and third-party data vendors
• Understanding of the data landscape and privacy environments
• Product management experience, preferably with optimization/advertising, with proven ability to define a value proposition and develop growth strategy
• Technical acumen with demonstrated ability to discuss technical concepts and define a product roadmap
• Track record of leading stakeholders across a matrixed organization to drive change
• Experience troubleshooting in real-time and strategizing long-term priorities
• Ability to communicate and work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, aligning interests of multiple stakeholders
• Demonstrated clear verbal and written communication skills
• Effective interpersonal & networking skills
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
• Ability to travel as required
