NBCUniversal Advertising Platforms & Operations (AP&O) is responsible for the product development, project management, and day-to-day operations of NBCUniversal's full advertising technology suite. From product management to program management to sales operations, our division services both internal and external customers in support of NBCUniversal's $10B+ annual advertising business. Together, we're building the platform that powers the future of advertising at NBCU.

The Ad Sales Identity and Data Product team within AP&O is responsible for collection, standardization, and management of NBCUniversal's owned and licensed data products and assets. NBCU collected consumer data is used to enable identity resolution, activation, monetization, and data collaboration through secure, privacy-centric methods and technologies. The AP&O Identity and Data Product team leads product strategy and development for the NBCU identity graph within its suite of data products for the Advertising Sales division.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the SVP, Data Product and Partnerships, you will:
• Own and manage the build, structure and maintenance of the NBCUniversal's owned datasets and products.
• Lead NBCUniversal's identity graph and strategy, as well as NBCUniversal's first party audience product.
• Interact with stakeholders across AP&O, Operations & Technology (O&T), Data Management, Ad Sales Strategy and Data Audiences teams.
• Manage a team of direct reports and/or contractors.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional, agile teams by communicating product roadmaps, producing product documentation, prioritizing backlogs and coordinating with internal teams.
• People manage a team of direct reports, internal resources and/or licensed contractors to execute the build and maintenance of NBCU's identity infrastructure
• Setting the product vision and executing the product roadmap for the NBCU's 1st Party Data product, Identity graph and Identity services
• Lead technical collaboration with O&T Development and Engineering teams, as well as outside vendors such as (but not limited to) Experian, Merkle, LiveRamp and TransUnion
• Communicate effectively across a wide breadth of teams, skillsets and personalities. Expectation to work closely with engineering, product, development, and sales strategy teams, as well as external vendors and partners
• Decision maker of data resolution rules, data inputs, waterfalling, data conflict resolution, prioritization and other rules as the owner of NBCU's 1st Party Data and NBCU's Identity Graph
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) on 1st party data sourcing, licensed third party datasets and identity resolution graphs
• Build and maintain one-, three- and five-year roadmaps (inclusive of annual and quarterly OKRs and KPIs) to ensure alignment and focus on resourcing, progress, and success
• Prioritize sprints, features, tech debt, and backlog
• Write, approve and/or distribute product documentation to share with key stakeholders

Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in product development and leadership roles, with relevant experience in building digital and offline datasets and identity graphs
• Experience owning the end-to-end lifecycle of a product, specifically long-term product(s) requiring iterative maintenance
• Experience in people managing with an emphasis in managing product managers, technical product managers and contractors
• Strong experience with and understanding of audiences and data sourcing within digital entertainment industry
• Strong empathy for solving problems for internal and external customers, with exceptional writing, analytics and organizational skills
• Experience with industry technologies, such as Amazon Web Services, Snowflake, JIRA, AirTable, Confluence, etc.
• Understanding of advertising technology platforms, such as CDPs, Ad Servers, SSPs, DSPs, etc.
• Strong understanding of consumer data protection legislation as well as legal and industry standards regarding separation of identifiable and anonymized signals, IDs, PI and PII
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and familiarity with enterprise agile methodologies
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)

• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States now and in the future
• Must be 18 years or older

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $220,000 - $325,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible)
