Responsibilities

The audience acquisition and growth team at NBC is looking for a Technical Producer to work with the technical and product teams to assist in delivery of product and technical tasks for the entertainment web properties such as BRAVOTV.COM, OXYGEN.COM and SYFY.COM. This individual will need to work directly with and be able to communicate with developers, editorial and business teams alike. The ideal candidate will work in tools such as JIRA, Launch Darkly, Amplitude and extensively within these brands Drupal content management systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical understanding of web development and web applications and tools. This individual will be liaison with other technical and operational teams throughout the NBC organization, working with Ad Intergrations, Hosting and Operations and Privacy and Compliance.
• Gathering functional requirements and documenting them as developer ready deliverables
• Translating business, editorial and product recommendations into technical documentation
• Collecting and authoring accurate and clear requirements based tasks for developers
• Provide user assurance testing and technical reviews
• Managing development tasks in related software such as JIRA, Trello, Roadmonk and Confluence with the ability to break down larger features into actionable tasks
• Recognizing blockers and working with teams to determine root cause, ensuring responsible parties are informed and acting swiftly to resolve
• Facilitating and contributing to release preparations and release activities in conjunction with Technology, Editorial and Product teams.

Qualifications
• 2+ years of Technical Production experience in working as a developer, technical producer or project manager on an enterprise level website.
• Content Management System(s)
• College degree in business, technology, computer science or systems management discipline
