Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
NBCUniversal Entertainment First Run Syndication is seeking a Talent Associate to work with all day to day operations as outlined below for ''The Kelly Clarkson Show.'' This is a Run of Show position.

Essential Responsibilities:

Booking & Talent Meetings:
• Responsible for developing and maintaining existing and new relationships with publicists, managers, agents, studio and production company executives that represent talent
• Research upcoming release dates for movies, television series, streaming projects, music releases and coordinate and assist with booking
• When directed by Talent Producers, book guests independently
• Pitch guest ideas and proactively seek our guests to appear on air
• As part of the research process, coordinate and maintain trade publication subscriptions and online informational services
• Attend all Talent Meetings to share and contribute researched ideas for upcoming shows

Guest Relations:
• Responsible for coordinating ground and air transportation for guests booked through the Talent Department Producers to and from the show taping
• Responsible for clearing all show guests and their teams with security at the Universal gate which also includes parking assignments at the stage and in the parking structure. If the guest is using an outside car service or driving themselves the Talent Associate will make direct contact with outside drivers to assure guest's on time arrival at the studio for the taping.
• Confirm with Talent Producers, Segment Producers and Backstage Manager the guest's arrival time and alert them when guest has arrived and is in the dressing room
• On show days, greet show guests at stage door and bring them to their private dressing rooms
• On tape days, work with the production team, making sure the dressing rooms are clean and sanitized before show guest's arrival
• Ensure that the refrigerators are stocked with bottled water and soft drinks, as well as, make sure covered food trays have been delivered to the dressing rooms prior to guest's arrival
• Ensure that guest's name cards are correctly spelled and placed on door sign before guest's arrival
• Once guest has arrived and producing team has taken over contact for the taping, Talent Associate will support Segment Producers or Producing Teams with any last-minute requests from the guest
• If guests ask for wardrobe or make up from the show, Talent Associate will alert Backstage Manager to these requests
• When the show is finished taping, the Talent Associate will wait for the guest and their teams outside of their guest room doors and escort them to their awaiting vehicles

Administration:
• Assist and report to the Senior Talent Producer, Talent Producer and Music Talent Booker. This includes, but is not limited to, answering phones, reconciling expense reports and receipts, emailing, setting up and confirming appointments with calendar invites, coordinating conference and Zoom calls for talent department meetings internally and externally.
• Work directly with guest's representatives on payment paperwork and appearance agreements and have agreements signed and returned before the guest tapes their appearance
• Work with guest's representatives and show accounting team regarding glam team invoices and payments
• Work closely with the Talent Production Assistant with completing all tape day tasks and assignments
• Strong communicator who can pitch ideas to the team and stakeholders, take and deliver feedback constructively, and cultivate a team environment of communication and accountability
• Flexibility in role within the team, including ability to work across multiple departments as needed

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with celebrity guests on a celebrity driven talk show on a broadcast network, streaming service, cable network, syndicated daytime or late-night series
• Candidates must have existing relationships with contacts in the entertainment industry
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Eligibility Requirements:
• Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
• Must be willing to work in Universal City, California
• Must have work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
