Job Description

The Position:

We are looking for an SVP to lead initiatives and manage teams that allow us to impact the business in a variety of ways across NBCE and Peacock.

This role also puts you at the heart of Peacock, NBCUniversal, Fandango and Rotten Tomatoes – a suite of brands that together offer a one-stop shop for fantastic content, storytelling, sports, movie tickets, reviews and more.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the following:
• marriage of analytics and insights;
• leading core initiatives in large organizations;
• using insights at the core of decision-making processes;
• bringing actionable insights into the right rooms;
• having influence and impact with stakeholders;
• bringing analytics and insights functions together in active projects;
• mentoring and coaching senior researchers as they develop in their own careers.

As such, this role also requires expertise in navigating both partner and stakeholder relationships as well as managing teams with researchers at different levels of experience.

Responsibilities:

Goals
• Understand the business and the goals of the different businesses across the company.
• Help to shape and guide goals with insights, as the understanding and the work evolves.

Partnerships
• Collaborate closely with leaders in other functions (Performance + Analytics, Content, Distribution, Product).
• Be a part of developing and delivering the team's purpose, contribution, and fit within the business

Team
• Mentor and coach more experienced researchers, guide and influence high-quality and actionable insights.
• Identify opportunities for the insights team to do their best work

Elevate the work
• Help teach the team and stakeholders how to shift the way they work where necessary.
• Find efficiencies in the approach to work and ensure that the teams work on the key questions that will grow and support the business the most.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 15 years of experience in research and at least 5yrs in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in the entertainment and / or streaming areas. Experience in subscription, or direct-to-consumer industries also great.
• Experience conducting and managing across different research methodologies
• Highly analytical, deep operational knowledge and expertise in customer insights
• Experience in analytics, and running an analytics function strongly preferred
• Experience building and setting research strategy that connects with business strategy
• Track record of translating research into business impact
• Experience working with a variety of cross-functional peers and stakeholders
• Strategic thinker who takes an action-oriented, forward-looking approach to consumer insights with a keen ability to listen to the voice of the consumer and derive conclusions and recommendations from raw data
• Ability to be nimble, reactive, and adaptive in real time

Salary Details
Salary Range: $275,000 to $300,000 Per Year ($ USD)
