Job Description

This role will be responsible for the development of a world-class business analytics models and tools which empowers data-driven decision making and commercial results. Will serve as the key internal expert in building analytics across the Consumer Products and Games organization worldwide in partnership with Retail, Category, Franchise, Product Development, Retail Brand Development, Strategy, Business Development, and Finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Analytics
• Lead the identification and sizing of global executable incremental growth and white space opportunities at both the Franchise/Property and Category/Subcategory level utilizing internal POS, market share benchmarking, industry analyst research, and syndicated data sources
• Drive global retail distribution analytics to identify underpenetrated channel opportunities by region and country. Scorecard and prioritize retailers based on current and future growth potential
• Manage audience segmentation and shopper cluster analytics based on basket, behavioral, demographic, and psychographic differences to improve product planning, distribution, merchandising, and retail marketing
• Develop analysis on longitudinal data sets, A/B and multi-variate testing, for franchise lifecycle, marketing ROI, and content analytics to identify most commercially impactful tactics and improve funding and allocation prioritization process

Technical Model Leadership, Forecasting, and Planning
• Build predictive sales forecast models for overall business, franchises, retailers, categories, films and initiatives through triangulation of internal, industry, qualitative intelligence, buyer/licensee sentiment, and publicly available data. Identify upside or downside risks to plan.
• Lead creation of complex regression models to correlate wholesale shipment patterns and retail POS sellthrough by franchise, category and retailer in order to predict earned revenues
• Manage account annual and 3 year long range plan retail sales budgeting and initiative sizing process by franchise and category, aligning with overall retail and company financial goals, but differentiating based on account specific priorities and outlook. Lead consolidation across accounts teams to ensure consistency in methodologies and outputs.

Reporting and Data Management
• Design international weekly account data activation, delivery, ETL, attribution, and restatement processes. Collaborate with internal IT teams and analysts to ensure consistency, completeness, and accuracy to minimize disruptions to downstream reporting and analytics workflows.
• Drive centralized development, data visualization design, and distribution of suite of reporting packages and performance recaps with high level insights on trending, key drivers, and contextual comparisons to internal and external benchmarks
• Manage new international retailer data onboarding efforts in coordination with external partners including business requirements, integration, and QA testing workflows. Build trust and manage relationships for the long term

Qualifications
• 10+ years of media/entertainment consumer products analytics experience with knowledge across broad range of categories, industries and retail channels
• Strong technical skills with ability to work with large datasets, write complex algorithms, and create multi-input analytic tools from scratch
• Expert level experience with domestic and global syndicated data resources (Circana, Nielsen, Kantar, Edge, Euromonitor, etc.) and retailers systems and hierarchies
• Excellent understanding of database structures, cloud based systems, data wrangling, cleansing, and organization with experience working with IT teams
• Knowledge of practical ML/AI applications in data management and analytics

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $110,000 - 130,000 (bonus eligible)

Salary Details
Salary Range: $110,000 to $130,000 Per Year ($ USD)
