Job Description

Telemundo is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and strategic minded Senior Finance Analyst to support the Content Finance team. The role will partner with Finance leads, operations, and controllership to manage essential reporting deliverables and business reporting needs.

Job Duties:
• Conduct monthly accounting closing activities for assigned properties.
• Assist with budgeting and Long range plans.
• Identify key drivers impacting financial performance and analyze potential risks & opportunities.
• Prepare presentations for senior management highlighting cost performance against budgets.
• Support News Sr finance manager with FP&A planning, including P&L pacing updates in BPC, weekly forecast reporting, and variance analysis.
• Work on special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed.
• Review, approve and ensure payments are performed timely according to contractual obligations.
• Establish and maintain communication with business production managers.
• Ad hoc analysis as needed.


Basic Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience within Finance/Accounting field.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experienced in using financial / accounting software and applications (SAP and BPC preferred).

Additional Requirements:
• This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to work regular hours.
