Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst will report into the Senior Director of FP&A, and partner with News Group HQ, as well as with peers across Telemundo Network Finance. Responsibilities include overseeing free cash flow reporting, assisting in preparation of annual budgets, pacings, estimates, and contributing to presentations and ad hoc analysis. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn the different areas of Telemundo. Responsibilities include:
• Assist Sr. Director in preparation of annual budget, estimates, and long-range plan by thoroughly understanding key business drivers.
• Own Free Cash Flow process for Telemundo Network working in close collaboration with the Operational Finance team.
• Analyze financial results to gain a deep understanding of variances by business area versus budget, estimates & prior year; highlight key trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Responsible for all P&L and FCF Corporate submissions, including loading pacings, estimates and financial variance commentary into the corporate system.
• Manage and maintain key reporting metrics, including Daypart Profitability, Sports Profitability, and Quarterly Competitive Analysis.
• Contribute to presentations and perform ad-hoc projects & analysis as requested, providing insight into KPIs, ratings and financial performance.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance
• Minimum of two years of relevant financial analysis, reporting and corporate accounting duties
• General ledger & accounting experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience in SAP/BPC
• Willingness to work overtime and on weekends during busy cycles.

Additional Requirements:
• This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
