The Position
The Senior Director Investor Relations will be responsible for assisting the EVP of Investor Relations in the development of Investor Relations strategies, policies and implementation of investor relations programs with a focus on institutional shareholder base. Acts as a Company spokesperson and supports the development of the investor relations strategy.

Core Responsibilities
• Part of the team as a representative for investment research analysts and institutional investors, analysts and portfolio managers.
• Serves as a financial liaison to industry associations, research firms, brokerage firms, news/trade publications and vendors. Works alongside the EVP of Investor Relations in developing relationships with sell-side analysts, buy-side analysts, portfolio managers and industry contacts (regulatory and technical).
• Plans and participates in investor meetings, conferences (and other presentations), conference calls and company-sponsored Investor Day, HQ, field meetings and other investor outreach activities.
• Contributes to the development and production of investor communications including presentation and conference materials; earnings, transaction press releases and supporting materials (including slides, Q+A, speeches, scripts and other talking points).
• Oversees coordination of schedules, logistics and fulfillment of information and materials requests.
• Oversees vendor relationships in support of investor relations programs.
• Collaborates in reviewing proxy related matters and serves as a spokesperson with institutional shareholders on proxy issues. Works closely with Legal, Corporate Communications and Investor Relations Shareholder Services to assist in the execution of all aspects of annual meeting(s).
• Interacts directly and regularly with various internal resources such as, Accounting, Legal, Treasury, Corporate Communications.
• Responsible for special Investor Relations projects/studies including guidance analysis and recommendations, disclosure issues (including FD), governance and others as required.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
The Person
• Bachelor's degree in finance or related and a minimum of 10 years of financial/investor relations or equity research experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A solid understanding of financial reports, analytic methods, and financial data tools required.
• Clear and demonstrable understanding of financial statements, financial ratios and trading multiples, capital markets, equity valuation techniques, buy side, sell side, the strategic role of IR and its value.
• A working knowledge of finance and data processes.
• Financial/investor relations or equity research experience within the media sector preferred.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Effective writing skills (as well as verbal communication and graphic skills).
• Ability to develop and maintain business relationships.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to represent the company, with a collaborative mindset.
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Subject to change based on Manager discussion or business need.
