Job Description
Responsibilities
The NBCU Local Division consists of 43 local NBC and TLMD stations and 6 Regional Sports Networks. The Sr. Director of FP&A will be a key member of the NBCU Local Headquarters Finance team that will help drive the financial and operating growth for the Division. Reporting into the VP of FP&A, this role will work closely with NBCU Local finance leadership (both HQ and Stations) and have in-depth exposure to the business.

Primary responsibilities include ownership of the Consolidated TV Station's P&L and FCF for all planning and estimate cycles, oversight of the NBCU Local Capital Planning Process, and management of our finance planning systems.

Additional responsibilities, include:
• Prepare deliverables including budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and long-term strategic planning
• Oversee all pacing and reporting processes for quarterly and year end close
• Partner with NBCU Local EVP of Technical Operations on all aspects of Capital Planning including analysis on enterprise wide projects
• Prepare analysis and presentations for NBCU Local Management, TV&S Finance HQ, and NBCU Corporate
• Assist in coordinating all FP&A activities across NBCU Local
• Manage team responsible for NBCU Local HQ Budgets and the completion of the NBCU Local Repack Project
• Manage a high-functioning team of 5 (3 Staff and 2 Temp Contractors)
• Oversee the division's financial planning systems (BPC) including the creation of new forecast dimensions, proforma reporting, & lead ongoing systems improvement initiatives for the entire group
• Lead special projects & ongoing ad hoc analysis as assigned by the NBCU Local CFO & TLMD Stations CFO

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, with demonstrated progression

Basic Qualifications
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be willing to work in New York City in a hybrid capacity
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be covered by Solutions - NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or adhere to enhanced protocols if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite
• Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols

Desired Characteristics
• Prior experience in digital media/media/entertainment industry preferred
• Demonstrate leadership skills with experience leading a team of finance professionals
• Solid financial modeling skills
• Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Flexible mindset to be able to take on new challenges outside of the job description as they arise
• Demonstrated system aptitude and knowledge of financial reporting software a plus (SAP & BPC)
• Strong communication skills; ability to present effectively to audiences at all levels of an organization
• Self-starter who can work independently and take initiative in challenging situations
• Proven ability to work efficiently, effectively, and proactively in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
