Responsibilities

Role Purpose:

The Senior Director, Corporate Finance & Accounting will be part of the Corporate Close & Consolidations team. The team oversees the company-wide close and consolidation process and reporting to our parent company, Comcast. Among other responsibilities, the Senior Director will play an instrumental part in managing and overseeing the accounting and reporting processes related intracompany content sales and one of the Company's FX translation/remeasurement processes. The position will report to the VP, Corporate Finance & Accounting.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in overseeing the company-wide close and consolidation process
• Manage the recording of company-wide elimination entries
• Oversee all accounting and analysis for intracompany content sales
• Collaborate with Corporate FP&A to explain impact of recorded entries
• Manage one of the FX translation/remeasurement processes
• Perform foreign currency analytics and validations
• Oversee company-wide derivative accounting, ensuring compliance with ACS 815/820
• Perform monthly/quarterly analyses and validations to ensure transactions are recorded appropriately
• Continuous review of divisional and corporate accounting processes to ensure overall standardized guidelines are followed and areas of efficiencies are identified
• Perform and review account reconciliations
• Provide information and work closely with the accounting team at Comcast
• Partner with external/internal auditors to support quarterly and yearly financial and internal control audits
• Special projects as needed
• Oversee and mentor staff

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum of 10+ years of accounting related experience. Combination of public accounting and entertainment industry preferred.
• CPA preferred
• Strong/exceptional Excel skills
• Knowledge of SAP/AOE preferred

• Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA
