Job Description
Director, SpinCo Short-Term Liquidity and Treasury Operations
The SpinCo Director of Short-Term Liquidity and Operations role is responsible for cash management and centralized bank administration for the global SpinCo organization. This position's primary responsibilities are to ensure global management of liquidity and counterparty risk for SpinCo and subsidiaries in accordance with SpinCo's Global Cash Management and risk management policies. The Short-Term Liquidity and Treasury Operations professional has a combination of daily operations as well as treasury projects and strategic goals.
• Identify, drive, oversee and participate in both domestic and international strategic finance and operational initiatives, bank relationships and day-to-day bank activities.
• Ensure consistent, highly accurate cash operations and reporting for the global business.
• Work with Treasury Services to ensure appropriate visibility to global bank accounts via the global treasury workstation.
• Assist with management of liquidity for global SpinCo operations.
• Identify opportunities and execute changes that will lead to efficiency improvements for the Treasury Operations team and better value for SpinCo and our shareholders.
• Provide strategic solutions for integrating of mergers and acquisitions.
• Collaborate effectively with external financial partners and internal operational divisions.
• Work closely with Corporate Treasury and FP&A colleagues to review cash flow forecasts and execute cash operations.
• Ensure global money market portals are managed effectively to gain the best value for SpinCo
• Develop and present recommendations for the businesses' short-term cash investments.
• Review and report on investment portfolio holdings to senior executives.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned across capital markets and daily risk management activities as well as analysis and presentations for senior management and the Board
Qualifications
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in accounting, business administration or finance required
• MBA or advanced degree in finance preferred
• CTP preferred
Additional Requirements
• Generally, requires 10 years of progressive Treasury or Finance experience with a corporation, accounting firm or finance consultant, including international experience
• Solid knowledge of treasury workstations, cash management products and software platforms
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interface with senior management
• Strong project management skills and ability to engage with colleagues across the organization
• Provide strong credibility, exercise sound judgement, demonstrate financial acumen, and communicates rationale for decision-making or recommendations to stakeholders
• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Subject to change based on Manager discussion or business need.
