Responsibilities

The TODAY Show is the number-one morning show in broadcast. And TODAY.com extends the reach of the broadcast to daily digital audiences. NBC News Digital is looking for an SEO Manager to lead the day-to-day search strategy for the expanding TODAY team. This collaborator will partner with editors as they prepare stories for publication. This role will also analyze developing trends and source ideas for research and development.

The role will report to the Director of Search and work out of the team's offices in NYC.

Responsibilities
• Build SEO workflows with editors to best prepare new content for search indexing
• Lead training sessions with editors to help them think about ways to integrate search signals into the writing process
• Recommend experiments to align content with search intent among target audiences
• Collaborate with the Digital Analytics team on trends reports
• Prepare recommendations to update on-page elements, including headlines and descriptions
• Share ongoing updates to help editors understand what's working and what needs work

Qualifications/Requirements
• At least three years of SEO strategy experience, with a

strong emphasis on commerce content
• Experience in Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or a

comparable web measurement toolset
• Familiar with search-specific tools, including Brightedge,

SEMRush, and Botify
• Knowledge of affiliate marketing and the connection

between user clicks and revenue

ideas flowing with editorial partners

• Able to contribute at high levels strategically and
operationally
