As part of the Direct-to-Consumer Decision Sciences team, the Sr. Project Manager will have a cross-functional role with responsibilities across traditional PMO functions. This role focuses on supporting data technology that span both the Peacock ecosystem. The Sr. project manager will also lead our collaboration with the enterprise-wide related financial functions, partnering with ad sales, operations & technology, and Peacock product. This function requires acute attention to detail, a strong sense of accountability, teamwork and understanding of complex privacy regulations and requirements.

We are looking for an organized, results-oriented candidate with proven record of delivery success in rapidly evolving environments. This position will report to the Director, Program Management.

Responsibilities
• Owns the planning and execution of medium to highly complex data engineering projects and has the ability to kick-off, plan, and execute projects with minimal supervision.
• Understands design of project output and participates in some design discussions. Ability to solve for complex risks through discussion, research, and investigation.
• Anticipates and prevents risks before they occur. Having wide-ranging experience, uses concepts to resolve complex risks.
• Recognize required activities and areas of responsibility with broader scope. Initiates ways to improve self and group with little guidance.
• Facilitate recurring team and cross-functional meetings, take ownership of milestone deadlines and open items with persistent follow-through.
• Identify gaps and areas of improvement and provide process recommendations as necessary.
• Provide clear and consistent communication of program and project status for cross-functional teams, leadership, and stakeholders.
• Connect the dots across teams and silos to ensure cross functional issues and decisions are flagged to leadership for resolution. Manage internal and external dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and manage intake, planning, and roadmap activities to ensure all work is prioritized against meeting annual OKR goals.
• Act as a liaison between the teams and requestors from across the business.
• Lead by example, consistently succeeds, and mentors/supports engineers.
• Expresses opinions and solicits feedback; requires little or no help juggling priorities.
• Mentors project managers and positively contributes to the work culture.

Qualifications
• 5+ years relevant project management experience
• Experience in Data Engineering and Analytics with specific projects around data delivery
• Strong business and technical acumen. Must understand the fundamental technical environment and data flow concepts
• Must have a deep understanding of project management tools and approaches to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects
• Experience with all types of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid)
• Experience creating project, release, and rollout plans for medium to large-scale projects.
• Excellent analytical skills, ability to break down a complex problem by asking the right questions and recommending a solution
• Experience reviewing user stories and writing user stories if needed
• Ability to understand and analyze different technology solutions at a high-level
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to all levels of the organization
• Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external (3rd party) organizations

Desired Qualifications
• PMP Certification
• B.S. or B.A.
or equivalent in Business Management, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or related field
• Experience in a consulting organization managing multiple projects
