Job Description
NBCUniversal is seeking a Senior Manager to join the Data Platform Operations team within our Measurement and Data Collaboration organization in the Global Advertising & Partnerships division.
This team builds and scales systems that enable secure, privacy-first data collaboration utilizing a variety of methods including file-based server to server integrations and data clean rooms such as Snowflake Samooha and Habu. These integrations help inform digital ad measurement and/or optimization with collaborators such as measurement vendors, agencies, advertisers, Retail Media Networks (RMNs), and Customer Data Platforms (CDPs).

As an ideal candidate, you will have strong technical expertise in Snowflake, Python, Streamlit and AI-driven automation combined with a deep understanding of ad tech and data collaboration workflows.
As a Senior Manager, you will:
• Lead the development of automation solutions, partner integrations, and internal tools to enhance our collaborative measurement infrastructure.
• Work closely with Product teams, external partners, and your peers to deliver scalable solutions that drive impactful business outcomes in ad sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design and implement automation solutions to streamline operational workflows, including clean room operations, server-to-server integrations, and ad exposure data pipelines.
• Build internal RAG-based systems to enhance data collaboration operations with AI-enhanced insights.
• Collaborate with Product teams to gather requirements and develop scalable integrations with external partners, including measurement vendors, agencies, advertisers, RMNs, and CDPs.
• Develop and maintain efficient, secure, and scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and Python, with an emphasis on performance, governance, and privacy.
• Lead high-impact initiatives with autonomy while mentoring junior developers and promoting engineering excellence.
Qualifications
• 6+ years of experience in software development or data engineering.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering or a related field like Data Science.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, including performance tuning, advanced data modeling, query optimization for cloud compute environments, orchestration of batch and streaming workloads, and scalable data pipeline development
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain data pipelines, automation tools, and integration systems.
• Familiarity with GitHub workflows, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem: media platforms, programmatic advertising, DMPs, DSPs is highly desirable.
• Experience working with data clean room integrations or sharing of media exposure and viewership data
• Familiarity with advertising measurement concepts: attribution, lift, reach/frequency, conversion tracking.
• Knowledge of identity mapping and crosswalk logic within the ad tech ecosystem.
• Experience with common GenAI patterns including prompt engineering, vector databases, RAG pipelines, and orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Hands-on experience with Streamlit or comparable app frameworks for app development.
• Experience with data platforms (Snowflake / Databricks)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/ Azure / GCP)

• Must be able to work out of our New York, NY office in a hybrid capacity
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States now and in the future
• Must be 18 years or older

Salary range: $130,000 - $180,000 + bonus eligible
