Responsibilities
As a key member of the Brand Development Controllership team, the Senior Manager, Accounting & Reporting will be responsible for accounting processes, controls, systems and reporting that ensures all controllership objectives are met to world class standards across Brand Development (Consumer Products, Digital Games, and Franchise Management) worldwide and through the implementation of multiple business models. This position reports to the Brand Development Assistant Controller and partners with Finance and Accounting across the US and multiple international territories.

Job Responsibilities:
• Timely management of quarter-end close responsibilities for the overall close, and financial reporting of Universal Brand Development into the Filmed Entertainment Group
• Supervise and review the work of Senior Financial Analysts (2); provide coaching as appropriate
• Review and approve journal entries, and related support/analysis
• Oversee preparation of the balance sheet review and supporting analytical schedules
• Review balance sheet account reconciliations
• Support AP function, as needed
• Support international accounting management from a controls, compliance, and reporting perspective
• Generate key metric driven analytical reports for Management
• Partner with Finance to ensure companywide financial goals and objectives are being met timely and efficiently
• Special projects

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• A minimum of five years of relevant work experience
• CPA and/or MBA preferred
• Big Four audit experience preferred
