SportsEngine, Inc., an NBC Sports Group company and leading provider of Sport Relationship Management (SRM) software, is hiring a Senior Front End Engineer to join our product development team.

Responsibilities

As a member of the front end development team at SportsEngine, you will...
- Lead the development and maintenance of front end projects
- Responsible for the continuous development and in-depth mentoring of the entire front end team with a focus on technical and professional development
- Create new and maintain existing websites and applications
- Rigorously manage team deliverables and drive team accountability
- Frequently communicate project updates to internal stakeholders
- Lead in design and code reviews with internal technical staff
- Lead the creation of technical documentation
- Act as a liaison to the business and provide technical guidance to stakeholders
- Define standards, architect solutions and deliver quality code
- Delegate work to team members
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned by management

Qualifications/Requirements
- 4+ years experience in software development

- 4+ years of Javascript development experience

- 3+ years of team leadership experience

- 3+ years of Angular development experience

Desired Characteristics
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to convey complex technical solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders

- Enhanced knowledge of architectural design theories

- Hands-on experience designing and developing web applications

- Has proven leadership capabilities, the ability to influence others, interpersonal and problem solving skills

- A commitment to stay on top of industry trends and technologies

- Professional experience architecting and building responsive websites using HTML5, CSS/CSS3, PHP, MySQL and JavaScript/jQuery

- Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (ie requirements, design, development, testing)
- Experience with Agile software development lifecycles

- Experience developing on an enterprise CMS (ie: Drupal, wordpress, sitecore)
