Responsibilities
Role Purpose
Exciting opportunity to work at the NBCU Cable networks. The Senior Financial Analyst will help support all unscripted content across the linear Cable properties, including USA, Bravo, SyFy, Oxygen, E!, & Universal Kids, and Peacock; this will include assisting the Programming Finance Team with Balance Sheet and P&L management, as well as being responsible for monthly/quarter close.

Responsibilities
• Own/manage cash process efficiency and accurate cash forecasting and tracking, which includes working with the Production Operations team to understand production timelines, episode order, and breakages; analyzing and reporting cash flow for FP&A Cycles ( closes, estimates and budgets) for all Original Programming
• Liase with production companies and external vendors on new series/season cashflows and payment schedules
• Key contributor to the monthly/quarter closings, including working with the Controllership team by providing updated amortization by network, as well as assisting with variance analysis, corporate data requests, pricing out Scheduling rollouts, and quarterly impairment reviews
• Manage, identify, & highlight business risks and opportunities throughout the quarter
• Perform a key role in supporting the ongoing improvement and testing of COMPASS, NBCUniversal's Contract Management, Program Accounting and Scheduling System. This will include assisting the NBC Entertainment & Cable team's transition to the new version of COMPASS
• Assist with internal, external and Sarbanes Oxley audits
• Perform ad hoc analyses providing insight into programming financials, as well as continually review finance processes to improve overall efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in financial, accounting, or similar roles
- Proficient in MS Office – particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Media/Cable experience preferred
