Job Duties
NBCUniversal Local Washington is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing team and dynamic organization. This position will oversee all NBCU local operations based in Washington DC including NBC Washington, Telemundo Washington, Telemundo Richmond, Telemundo Raleigh and NBC Sports Washington. Primary responsibilities include oversight and execution of (i) Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) related functions and (ii) Operational Finance and Accounting related functions.
• Assist in forecasting and managing revenue and operational expenses in partnership with leadership team
• Support monthly and quarterly close processes through accurate pacing updates, G/L journal entries, variance analysis, standard reporting packages and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Assist with capital expense and fixed asset tracking
• Assist in the development and preparation of the annual business plan, including designing the final senior management presentation
• Manage aspects of the monthly and quarterly financial closes, including the preparation and accuracy of the station's financial statements and related reporting requirements
• Identify and propose operational and cost synergies across business and operational units
• Partner with department heads to develop and adhere to annual expense budgets and collaborate on operational analyses to drive process improvements and station growth
• Develop dashboards for T&E reporting, wireless usage, and departmental credit card spend
• Assist in ongoing headcount tracking and reporting

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant Finance experience including experience with both revenue and expenses
• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookup, etc.) skills and strong PowerPoint skills
• Must be willing to work in Washington DC
• Must be 18 years or greater
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
