Job Description
The Universal Film Group FP&A team is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst, responsible for leading the consolidation, analysis, and forecasting of the global P&L for the entire Film Segment. The role is in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and exposure.
Responsibilities:
include but are not limited to:
• Support the consolidation & analysis of the Film Group's global P&L forecasting routines (budget, quarterly estimates, and monthly pacings), and communicate results to Film and Studios leadership.
• Prepare and submit forecast details and variance commentary to Corporate FP&A
• Provide thoughtful quantitative and qualitative analysis during quarter close & budget/forecast cycles.
• Leverage film financial system to build robust analytical tools and enhancement to processes to support Film pacing process
• Support Film CFO and VP FP&A in preparing monthly/quarterly business update presentations to Film, Studios, & NBCU Senior Management Teams
• Direct consultation, collaboration, and communication with finance teams across the 11 Film business units to ensure coordinated processes and timely FP&A reporting.
• Owner of Film library revenue reporting, providing analysis on year-over-year trends
• Support administration of the film financial database system.
• Partner with peers to support personal and professional development programs for interns, rotational associates, and other new hires.
• Opportunity to participate in creating internal communications related to industry and company news and to facilitate cross-departmental team events.
• Participate in or lead ad-hoc projects as needed, such as cross divisional research projects, developing AI tools, creating dashboards, etc
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 2+ years of Finance experience, preferably in the entertainment industry and having a working knowledge of Film accounting
• High proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficiency with SAP, BPC, and SAC (preferred but not required)

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
