Job Description

Role Purpose:

The SAP S/4 Business Process Lead will be part of the S/4 Solution Team in the newly formed S/4 Transformation Office in NBCU Corporate. You will work with colleagues across the global Finance and Technology organizations, playing an active role in our finance digital transformation from design to deployment. This role will lead the Enterprise RTR workstream, serving as the Controllership's single point of contact and liaison. Key aspects of the R2R workstream will include but not be limited to; Group Reporting, FX, Intercompany, Fixed Assets and Local Statutory Reporting.

NBCUniversal is embarking on a legacy ERP to SAP S/4 Hana transformation, and you will be an important part of ensuring inclusive design decisions and BU change management are a success. In this role, you will lead the Enterprise RTR workstream through global template design, data requirements and implementation planning ensuring business critical inputs are incorporated into the overall system design.

Additionally, NBCUniversal understands the need to fit to standard wherever possible and this will likely result in a level of organizational change management across NBCU Finance. You will be responsible for sharing and driving our fit to standard mission within Enterprise RTR business processes.
Other aspects of this role will be to provide expertise in identifying what master and transactional data is required to support future Enterprise RTR business processes and operational/analytical reporting. You should understand the RTR business process data landscape such as critical data elements, business rules, source systems and more to contribute a well-rounded knowledge of our business to the Technical, Finance, and external transformation team members. This role will work across a wide range of stakeholders in NBCU Corporate and Business Finance, Global Finance Operations, Functional groups such as Comcast Corporate Tax, Treasury as well as with NBCU IT and external advisors and system integrators.

Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic thinking based on subject matter expertise (SME) for next generation ERP Finance Solutions data design and migration.
• Interface with horizontal workstreams (data, IT, Risk and Controls), the S/4 leadership team, System Integrators (SI) and more to capture & analyze business processes, workflows, policies, master data elements, and functionality related to the current ECC solution, to translate RTR, O2C, or P2P needs into the design of SAP S/4 solutions.
• Eloquently translate finance functional requirements to technical teams for development.
• Participate in fit to standard workshops and sessions around data migration design and validation.
• Serve as a leader during fit-to-standard workshops and drive solutioning for established GAPs.
• Build stakeholder consensus and ensure everyone is on the same page, in agreement, and can understand the solution being proposed.
• Be a change agent for the SAP S/4 transformation.
• Evaluate third party solutions as an alternative to custom development and ensure that any request for custom development or implementation of third party solutions has an approved business case.
• Represent and manage an experienced team of 2-3 that will support the Enterprise R2R workstream team as a cohesive unit.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems or similar and 15 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of relevant media industry experience.
• 3+ years of professional work experience in an SAP ecosystem preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of SAP business processes (e.g., FICO).
• Strong understanding of agile project mgmt. and a record of accomplishment of on time delivery.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in organizational change management.
• Solution driven and results oriented.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills within functional and technical areas.
• Ability to represent NBCU with third party implementers with a collaborative mindset.
• A distinctive working knowledge of finance and data processes.

• Must be willing to work in New York, NY.
• This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
