Job Description
Position Purpose
Management, analysis, interpretation, reporting and discharge of participation obligations to talent, financiers and licensor. This individual will be a key member of the team providing leadership and expertise to maximise productivity, while ensuring quality throughout the entire process.
Key Responsibilities
• Support & Assist Director in day-to-day work and cover in absence.
• Support in maintaining key relationships both internal (global) and external (talent, financiers, agents, etc)
• Major stakeholder in the development and migration to new systems.
• Responsible for timely and accurate reporting of all participation obligations to talent, financiers and licensors.
• Support decision making for contract negotiations and production green lighting / financial modelling.
• Work with & support internal audit team to research 3rd party audit queries
• Responsible for ensuring compliant processing controls and procedures.
• Create various ''what if'' analysis to support sales, finance, legal and in business decision support.
• Collaborate and work with participation reporting teams in London and LA.
Qualifications
This job description is not exhaustive, and the post holder will be required to carry out any other ad hoc tasks as requested and within capabilities.
• Significant experience of participation reporting and financial management experience in the film/video industry and allied sectors.
• Demonstrated experience in team management with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work and communicate effectively with senior management as well as agents and artists.
• A logical thinker with excellent system and process skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience of participation reporting platforms.
• Resourceful and self-reliant but also able to work collaboratively as part of a team is essential.
Very organised and used to hitting tight deadlines, whilst being able to demonstrate attention to detail.
