Responsibilities
This is an opportunity to learn and grow in an exciting, evolving research environment. The role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of analysis of linear and digital audience metrics and transforming large data sets into actionable insights.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Analyze TV and digital data
• Examine and interpret qualitative research on consumer demographics, competitors, and market trends
• Develop detailed insights for local and network programming and present findings to station's staff
• Support Sales team in the development of presentations to engage advertisers and their agencies
• Estimate the performance of new programming, sports and special properties across markets
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree
• At least two years of experience in research, advertising, or in a media outlet
• Must be willing to work in San Antonio
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
Desired Characteristics
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications especially Powerpoint and Excel (pivot tables, Vlookups, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills, able to analyze qualitative and quantitative data with client needs in mind
• Familiarity with Nielsen ratings systems and other syndicated media research sources
• Interested in the media industry and passionate about the consumer
• Curious, creative, confident; a proactive thinker
• Highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to work under pressure, handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Strong writing and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with Management and Sales staff
