Responsibilities
The Program Manager drives the end-to-end delivery of strategic epics, features and stories on our software development programs and projects. The Program Manager will work in close partnership with Product and Technical Teams handling core activities including scrum master on sprints, planning, scheduling, requirements gathering, validation, documentation, and release management. The ideal candidate will work well with multi-disciplinary teams, strives for continuous improvement, resolves conflicts, has strong relational leadership skills, is good at detail management, and has great communication skills.

Responsibilities:
• Perform the role of Program Manager and Scrum Master demonstrating leadership at the project macro level while also supporting and coaching Scrum/Agile best practices at the team level.
• Manages projects as a hands-on program manager using technical and administrative skills to oversee the completion of engineering projects
• Directs the planning and execution of multiple concurrent new product programs
• Organize and facilitate program increment planning sessions
• Plan and execute sprint-based delivery schedules
• Ensure a fully groomed back-log exists and is managed
• Facilitate routine stand-up meetings to ensure the team is aligned on daily goals and objectives
• Identify impediments and assist the team with removing roadblocks to ensure successful sprint-based deliveries
• Hold retrospective sessions and ensure clear action items result
• Ensure both internal and external teams are fully aligned on goals and objectives; ensure full transparency and communicate effectively
• Provides support and guidance to the project teams fostering teamwork, improving communications, providing suggestions and advice regarding better ways to accomplish objectives
• Identifies and pro-actively manages program risk and keeps project teams from repeating past mistakes
• Leads, advocates, applies, and enforces agile best practices in design, implementation, and testing
• Develops and communicates project plans and timetables
• Ensures that all aspects of program cost, quality, timing, and scope meet business requirements
• Establishes and maintain essential program documentation
• Assists development organization during the product implementation, integration, verification, and certification phases to help mediate discrepancies and communicate decisions back to program management
• Conduct regularly scheduled project team meetings to review progress, discuss critical issues, make decisions, refine plans, and keep team members informed of changes to product requirements and/or the development plan
• Produce bi-weekly & monthly reports of program status throughout the project cycle
• Manager external vendor engagement, interviews and hiring

Qualifications/Requirements
• Experience working in consumer software products, and in leading others through the process of learning, implementing and contributing to it.
• Project and/or program management experience leading high-level cross-functional and global teams
• Very strong communication, facilitation and negotiation skills.
• 4+ years of development experience
• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner or Agile Coach
• 2+ years of experience working on large scale, multiple Scrum team projects

Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be willing to work in Greater Miami area
• Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice (if applicable)
• Must have a valid driver's license (if applicable)
• Must be ''on call'' 24 hours a day / 7 days a week (if applicable)
• Must be able to provide a reel/portfolio of work examples -- if available, include a web address when you submit your resume (if applicable)
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
