Job Purpose

NBCUniversal is the exclusive Apple News reseller in the UK and US. The position of Marketing Manager will be the UK-based marketing lead supporting Apple News UK in market. This person will work directly with marketing managers and sales to develop proactive sponsorship packages, lead storytelling and positioning for all products, and be responsible for case study development and proving out campaign effectiveness. This position will liaison closely with the US-based NBCU-Apple News marketing team to ensure we are collaboratively building our Apple News solution to a global advertiser audience.

We are looking for an individual with an understanding of the digital media marketplace (especially mobile), project management experience with content marketing campaigns, and a strong comfort level in data reporting and analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities

Pre-Sale Development
• Work collaboratively with US Marketing team to position core Apple products in UK market
• Manage sponsorship editorial calendar in partnership with Apple, Sales, and Planning
• Create and manage ad galleries, case studies, and category-specific materials for sales team to use
• Work with Marketing colleagues on global opportunities, highlighting how Apple News UK fits into the NBCU-Sky portfolio

RFP Response
• Support sales team for in-bound client request-for-proposals creating beautiful, strategic responses that answers a clients need
• Partner with research to position the 'why Apple News' via syndicated and first party research tools
• Create customized mocks and imagery to support RFP response

Marketing Campaign Execution
• Lead execution for UK-based content marketing campaigns across Apple's brand channel product
• Work directly with client, product, ad ops and a team of developers to create the channel, manage optimizations, and share wrap decks

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
• Experience prioritizing, communicating and project managing complex projects.
• Experience interfacing with clients and managing projects from start to finish
• Comfortable using PowerPoint/Keynote and creating aesthetically pleasing materials to share with clients

Preferred Qualifications:
• 5 years managing complex content marketing campaigns and RFP response
• Experience in making analytical, data-driven decisions and communicating the results of analyses.
• Strong visual storyteller with marketing and/or media experience

• Willingness to travel
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United Kingdom
