Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
The Production Audit department performs on-site compliance and financial audits of NBCUniversal's television productions. Specifically, as a Manager, Production Audit, you will work closely with studio production related departments (Production Finance, Physical Production, Production Services, Labor, Legal, Transportation, Safety / EHS, Tax, etc.) to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures, local and federal laws, and union requirements, as well as to review supporting documentation for the cost reports to determine reasonableness, completeness, accuracy, and validity of the reported production expenses.

Essential Responsibilities:
consist mainly of the following:
• Travel to production offices, local and distant, and perform detailed reviews of accounting and production documents (cost reports, budgets, scripts, call sheets, production reports, invoices, crew timecards, etc.) and document findings in audit workpapers
• Interact with various studio, accounting, and production personnel to ensure understanding of departmental policies and procedures
• Present audit findings to the accounting and production teams, as well as to senior studio Executives associated with the project
• Prepare an audit report detailing all audit findings and respective corrective action plans
• Perform special projects as necessary, including financial audits, cost audits, data analysis, policy research, etc.

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least four years of related work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Must be able to travel, including internationally, up to 40%
Eligibility Requirements:

Desired Characteristics

Desired Characteristics:
• CPA or CIA
• Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm or internal audit experience with an entertainment company
• Production knowledge a plus
• Advanced Excel data analysis skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to easily communicate with senior studio Executives
• Excellent verbal and writing skills
• Team player with the ability to work and travel alone
• Self-starter with initiative
