In 2022, a key priority of Ad Sales is to elevate our industry-leading team of Insights and Research professionals by providing the marketplace with a deep understanding of consumer perceptions and behaviors, designed to help our clients meet their business objectives.

In response to this goal, NBCUniversal is looking for a Manager of Primary Research within the Insights & Research team to conduct research to uncover insights: discover the story in the data, in support of the advertising sales organization.

Responsibilities
• Conduct research to uncover insights: Discover the story in the data by balancing the roles of ''thought leader'' and ''trusted partner'' on robust research and analysis, in a nimble and practical manner
• Set research goals and objectives; write surveys; determine sampling and weighting parameters; analyze results and present recommendations
• Create new methodologies and processes to conduct best-in-class research
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, both with internal and external partners
• Possess curiosity for uncovering truths, motivated to dig deep into insights, and ready to solve research problems through creative, thoughtful approaches
• Create new methodologies and processes to conduct best-in-class research

Qualifications
• 4+ years in consumer insights and/or market research field.
• Excellent command of designing research methodology based on business objectives questions within a given domain, and of technical tools for the analysis of data within that field.
• Strong knowledge and ability to work with respondent level data sets and statistical knowledge.
• Possess a track record of managing end-to-end consumer insights research (e.g., online quant surveys, focus groups, IDIs, ethnos, online qual, mobile, etc.)
• Experience using DIY quantitative and qualitative tools (e.g., Qualtrics, Quantilope, MarketSight, Recollective)
• Experience on the research supplier side
• Effective presenter and clear communicator
• Experience working with panels, SPSS, R, a plus
• Advanced Degree preferred

Eligibility Requirements
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000, bonus eligible
