Job Description
Responsibilities

The Manager of Events will lead the planning, design and production of all company events.

Responsibilities:
• Provide outstanding customer service and organizing memorable events that meet client expectations Event planning, design and production while managing all project delivery elements
• Coordinate with production teams and vendors both internal and external to execute events
• Consummate professional in pulling off VIP experience events.
• Conduct market research, gather information and negotiate contracts prior to closing any deals
• Provide feedback and periodic reports to stakeholders
• Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality
• Organize facilities and manage all event's details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material etc.
• Ensure compliance with insurance and legal
• Specify staff requirements and coordinate their activities
• Cooperate with marketing and PR to promote and publicize event
• Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day
• Conduct pre- and post - event evaluations and report on outcomes
• Works under the direct supervision of Sr. Director Corporate Events and TC Services and is responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in events planning
• Must be fully fluent in Spanish/ English
• Strong proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Must be able to perform job at locations in and outside work environment with varying weather conditions
• Experience working with sensitive and confidential information

Eligibility Requirements:
• Willingness to travel with short notice and on weekends
• Willingness to work flexible hours including late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment
• Must be willing to work in the greater Miami, Florida area
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

Desired Characteristics

Minimum 2 years of experience in the entertainment industry
