Responsibilities
NBCU Corporate Strategy Group has an immediate need for a Manager of Corporate Strategy & Business Development. The Manager will work as part of a 2-3-person team on projects of high strategic importance for NBCU. Each project is designed to identify, quantify and prioritize activities within a portfolio of initiatives across NBCU. The Manager will lead analysis and frame communication for evaluating new strategic organic growth initiatives, critical business decisions, company evaluations, partnership structures and terms, and M&A. The Manager will assist in communicating the work to functional and corporate executives within the company.

Responsibilities:
• Create and oversee analyses to generate business insights and to identify emerging trends affecting the NBCU businesses. This can include preparing market overviews, benchmarking competitors, assessing industry developments, evaluating potential new business cases within the company and exploring partnerships / acquisition targets
• Synthesize and communicate key conclusions as well as frame and design the final work product
• Communicate findings effectively both verbally and in written form including end-to-end, polished, executive-ready presentations
• Identify and evaluate opportunities around new businesses and extensions of existing businesses with a predominant focus on rapidly growing digital sectors
• Support Comcast's overall corporate strategy and business development planning with focus on long term growth for the combined businesses
• Contribute to the building, mentorship and retention of an outstanding, high performing team

Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements:
• BA/BS degree
• Minimum 5 years professional experience at an investment bank, management consulting firm, media company, or corporate strategy/development group
• Superior quantitative skills, including strong facility with Microsoft Excel, and a sound understanding of finance and financial accounting
• Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to frame and communicate complex concepts and analyses in Microsoft PowerPoint
• Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with tight deadlines
• Capable communicator (written and verbal) who can handle themselves well in front of any audience
• A team player with the ability to work independently

• MBA or other advanced degree
• Demonstrated interest or experience in media and entertainment industry
• Strong strategy skills; a well-developed understanding of consumer behaviors and usage patterns; know how to move quickly and seize opportunities in a rapidly changing media landscape
• Tech-savvy with a strong conceptual understanding of digital and mobile technologies, staying abreast of relevant trends that could impact the organization's business short and long-term
• Decisive, quick, forward-thinking, strategic, and tactical executive; proven ability to work across an organization at all levels with technical, creative, and executive team members
• Ability to present ideas to important constituencies, earning the confidence and trust of others; perceived as a thought leader; has the ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt to changing business conditions
