Job Description

Role Purpose:

The Manager of Corporate Finance is responsible for managing financial planning and forecasting for NBCU Corporate Staff Functions. This role will have significant interaction with department heads and executive leaders, particularly through the budget and estimate cycles. In addition, the manager will participate in/coordinate ad hoc projects as requested.

This role reports to the Director, Corporate FP&A and sits alongside the Corporate FP&A group function which provides insight into all of NBCU's businesses including Parks, Film and Peacock, and offers a unique overview of the wider NBCU portfolio.

• Responsible for preparation and maintenance of budgets, estimates and long range plan for assigned Corporate HQ Departments, including expenses, cash flow and headcount
• Manage closing process including journal entries, pacing, variance analysis reporting
• This is a high-profile role with regular interaction with Executive level business leaders; this role will act as day-to-day liaison and partner to department heads and coordinators, developing good working relationships
• Coordinate and actively participate in financial results reviews with senior leaders
• Create management reports and presentations on a routine and ad hoc basis
• Ownership to identify opportunities to implement process change and to create value added financial analysis for assigned Corporate HQ divisions
• Continually review financial processes to improve overall efficiency and accuracy and drive effective financial forecasting
• Prepare regular operating reviews which are presented to EVP & Global Controllership Leader
• Manage and develop one Senior Finance Analyst
• Participate in other ad hoc projects
• Drive controllership function and ensure all accounting policies are strictly adhered to


Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Finance and Accounting

• Delivery focused while managing multiple priorities; effective time management skills
• Demonstrates flexibility, independence, and initiative to perform successfully in a growing and constantly changing environment
