Job Description
The Manager, Communications and Client Experience position is responsible for supporting NBCUniversal's Content Distribution Communications and Client Experience functions. The position will report to the Vice President of Communications and work closely with the Senior Director, Client Experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support VP Communications in working collaboratively across the division and broader company to facilitate internal and external communications
• Build and maintain strong relationships with network communications teams
• Organize and distribute daily news clips and breaking news
• Draft press releases, pitches, executive bios, and media-related documents for distribution
• Coordinate participation in industry conferences and events, including talent appearance events
• Prepare public relations and social media marketing efforts for customer activation campaigns
• Submit department initiatives and individuals for trade awards and programs
• Manage Content Distribution Summer Internship Program
• Support Sr. Director of Client Experiences in the creation, planning and execution of large and small scale events for clients of NBCU Content Distribution
• Build relationships and work closely with the NBCU corporate events team on marquee events
• Work closely with sales and strategy team to execute industry trade shows virtually and in-person
• Plan and execute internal employee driven events
• Work with our various vendors on premiums and trade show collateral

Bachelor's Degree

General understanding of the media industry and media distribution
Understanding of social media platforms and practices
Willingness to travel and work overtime
Must be willing to work at the office in New York, NY
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Must be 18 years or older
Strong interpersonal skills with all levels of management
Strong writing, organizational, project & event management skills
A positive attitude and the ability to work/communicate effectively
A detail-oriented individual with the ability to think strategically and work on multiple projects under tight deadlines
Highly innovative with positive energy
Excellent oral and written skills
A comprehensive understanding of the suite of Microsoft Office tools, other presentation platforms, etc.

Desired Characteristics

Prefer 3-5 years of professional experience. Experience in PR, corporate communications and event management a plus
