Job Description

Seeking an experienced and motivated publicity awards specialist who has direct experience collaborating and executing all facets of awards campaigns. Must have strong editorial knowledge, detail oriented, organized and creative & strategic thinker. Ideal candidate is able to work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Has previous experience working with guilds and various awards groups and journalists.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Work directly with Awards VP to oversee campaign strategy across the slate, running point on particular campaigns from start to finish, including submissions strategy, festival tributes and honors strategy, Academy and Guild member outreach, media strategy and outreach.
• Work with National VPs and Events teams to oversee comprehensive talent campaigns & engagement across traditional/digital press, stunt/event activations and social platforms.
• Managing agencies, developing timelines and monitoring benchmarks.
• Work with VPs to oversee management of in-person/on-site activities including press days, press junkets, special screenings, and premieres where applicable.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years' experience in film publicity including direct experience pitching and overseeing awards campaigns
• Required Education: Bachelor's Degree

• Motivated and passionate professional who can multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Will have strong working relationships with journalists, guilds leadership, programmers, and festivals.
• Must have keen knowledge of innovations in the digital landscape, and have interest in keeping abreast of trends in social media
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills and ability to pay attention to details under deadline pressure
• Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with talent, senior executives, and peers
• Must be a team player who is able to work in an open and collaborative environment
• Genuine love of all kinds of film and pop culture is a plus

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week

Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000; bonus eligible, not long-term incentive eligible.
