Responsibilities include:
• Support Direct to Consumer team in managing compliance with applicable laws, regulations and industry standards related to the commerce and viewing product, ad sales, and data use.
• Provide legal quality control by regularly reviewing all Direct-to-Consumer websites and apps for compliance with legal requirements. Archive sign up and cancellation flows. Assist with litigation and investigations, including document production and information requests.
• Assist attorneys with managing legal responses to customer communications.
• Assist attorneys with tracking applicable data privacy, consumer and other regulations and industry standards.
• Assist attorneys with compiling and distributing training and guidance materials.
• Assist with various privacy and regulatory compliance projects and perform other program-related duties as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Either (i) a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a professional role requiring organizational skills and careful attention to detail, as well as a Bachelor's Degree, or (ii) a Juris Doctorate Degree.

• Willingness to work nights and on weekends, if needed.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY, Washington DC or Universal City, CA.

Basic Qualifications:
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, as well as solid interpersonal skills
• Excellent computer skills (including Microsoft Word, internet sources, and ability to master many NBCU applications)

• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information.
• Sound business judgment and flexibility/adaptability to manage multiple time-sensitive matters, including appropriately prioritizing among them.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary Range: $62,000 - $75,000
