Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Manage, control, and maximize inventory to ensure placement of spots, control oversell situations and most importantly to generate and capitalize revenue
• Consistently monitor inventory via spot manager/log planner to place or preempt spots for week of, week ahead, monthly, and quarterly
• Look ahead at tent poles and special programming (premieres, finales, sports, specials) to ensure spots are ordered correctly and placing
• Work with traffic coordinators to ensure current and updated inventory availability, sellout information and placement of spots
• Work with AEs for makegood availability and approval to guarantee that inventory is being utilized properly and not oversold
• Keep displaced spots tab clean for traffic to ensure logs can be executed in a timely manner
• Communicate with sales management to determine inventory availability for internal pricing
• During political season consistently check that there are no spots booked or made good under the LUR
• Handle order approval/process orders into the traffic system once CSRs are finished inputting orders. Checking for accuracy of inventory codes and coding to allow for the system to place spots with no issues
• Ensure inventory codes are updated and available for formatting
• Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee's residence.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Minimum 2 year of experience in broadcast traffic/sales with working experience in broadcast traffic systems
• Bachelors degree
• Bilingual-English/Spanish preferred
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

Desired Characteristics:
• Knowledge of Wide Orbit Traffic, Wide Orbit Sales
• Knowledge of basic Microsoft Applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Effective organizational skills - must possess the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence and balance
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong interpersonal skills/team oriented with a positive attitude
• Creative thinker with a strategic and business-oriented mindset towards problem solving
