The Studio Group FP&A team is seeking a Director to play an integral role in leading the Studio P&L consolidation, reporting to the Sr. Director, Studios FP&A. This role will be responsible for owning the consolidation, analysis and reporting of the Studio Group's P&L financials. The role provides a unique opportunity to become immersed in the various Studio business models, with the ability to gain an in-depth view and understanding of the full Studios P&L.
The Studio Group FP&A Director will be responsible for the annual budget planning, long range planning, monthly forecast and quarter close cycles across the NBCUniversal Studio Group Segment. Additionally, the FP&A Director will be a key member of the preparation of various Studio financial presentations and pitches across the NBCU enterprise, and will work closely with financial leaders of the organization across NBCUniversal Corporate, Studios HQ and various Studio business units. The role is in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for owning the overall P&L forecasting, planning and analysis across the Studio Group segment (Film, TV, Digital Studios)
• Key member of the team leading annual Budget and Long Range Plan processes across the Studio Group
• Key contributor to presenting financial updates to the NBC Ent. & Studios CFO
• Responsible for the oversight of the consolidation and publication of weekly executive Studio dashboards
• Assist in the preparation of operating review pitches and financial updates decks for executive leadership
• Collaborate closely with 3 major Internal Studio FP&A teams to build a cohesive P&L story across the Studio Group
• Key member of preparation and presentation of quarterly Studios Global All Finance Update to 300+ employees
• Key liaison to NBCU Corporate FP&A team including financial pacing updates and ad-hoc requests
• Own coordination and communication of Corporate deliverables/supplementals during quarter close and budget/forecast cycles (i.e. variance analysis, Studio KPI metrics)
• Coach, develop and grow a manager, while building and fostering a positive team culture
Qualifications
Qualifications / Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting, preferably in the media & entertainment industry
• Exceptional financial modeling skills, and the ability to navigate financial planning systems
• Expert proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and SAP
• Deck building skillset, with the ability to create slides with tight turnarounds
• Proven leadership skills to coordinate & influence multiple business units
• Proficient communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and translate / present to executive leaders and stakeholders at all levels
• Superior strategic, financial and relationship skills

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
Willingness to travel, and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice.
