Job Description
Responsibilities
The Digital Tech team is looking for a highly collaborative leader (NY based) to run and inspire the Quality Assurance & Operations team. This person will be expected to work with cross-functional teams, partnering closely with vendors, external IT teams and internal developers. Immediate focus for this role would be to expand footprint in automated testing by using various latest tools/utilities and best practices.

Responsibilities
• Lead and Manage ''Quality Assurance'' department that is responsible for writing and executing test cases for all the new and existing products being launched across Desktop, Mobile Web, IOS/Android Applications, Amazon Echo, OTT devices & other emerging platforms.
• Lead and Manage ''Operations & Devops'' team that is responsible for supporting (24x7) our mission-critical digital tech stack and ensuring that day-to-day business operations across our stations are in order. In addition, this group is responsible for continuously monitoring our production environments to ensure the optimal performance and experience across our all our digital platforms for English and Spanish stations (28 of them).
• Own privacy process (for CCPA and others) for the division and work with corporate privacy council for guidance.
• Define, alter and lead automation strategy for the team. Works towards automation of test cases, workflows and processes for streamlined execution.
• In this role you will be working with very closely with Tech team and various cross functional leaders to deliver projects and close out all the operational tasks.
• Recruit, mentor and develop strong QA & Operations teams.
• Work with outside vendors to ensure quality of product-related services and keep them on their SLA's.

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology is preferred or other degree with significant related IT and/or QA background
• 8+ years of industry exposure with minimum of 5 years' experience in leading QA team(s).
• Experience in troubleshooting issues, running Charles sessions (or similar tools), evaluating network calls, events and triggers.
• Must have implemented or worked on test case automation utilities/technologies.
• Must have clear understanding and strong background on CI (Continuous Integration) process and should have hands on experience.
• Expert knowledge of Testing tools, testing methodologies, test case management and estimation strategies.
• Clear understanding and good handle on JSON, XML, HTML, CSS and other technologies.
Ability to lead, manage and inspire dynamic team of QA/Operations personnel.
• Must have experience in working with and leading 24x7 operations teams.

• Successful leader with experience in building and leading a shared service discipline in a large matrixed enterprise, preferably with global/virtual team experience
• Proven track record of translating organizational strategy into actionable solutions that drive operational excellence while enabling synergistic growth and organizational scale.
• Ability to partner and influence key business stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
