Responsibilities

The Director, Omnichannel Creative Strategy is a strong creative leader, who continuously inspires and stimulates the creative team into bringing top multiplatform, innovative and strategic thinking to the Telemundo brand. The Creative Director is fundamental in creating an energetic, fast paced creative atmosphere where ideas flow constantly while work is delivered on time and within budget.

The position reports into VP Creative Strategy leading a creative hub responsible for the production of 360 marketing assets and campaigns for Telemundo, Telemundo OneApp, and TPlus.

Must have extensive experience in project management, production and execution of multi-platform creative campaigns for streaming services, as well as linear, off-air, digital, social and CRM.

Must be intimately familiar with the 360 creative process and adept at building creative that aligns back to a defined media strategy. Should also be an expert in creative social strategy, marketing of streaming services, digital platforms / apps and emerging technologies.

Job Duties
• Develop creative strategies for paid and non-paid media campaigns across platforms, including social, digital, linear, off-air, radio, websites, and other technologies such as AR/VR, etc.
• Lead the development and implementation of materials that will drive new users and will foster long-term relationships with current users/fans.
• Create scope of work and manage project plan/timelines understanding prioritization resources, tasks, personnel and budgets.
• Lead creative asset production that supports the digital distribution and licensing team in the sale of content to partners and platforms.
• Partner with internal teams to drive performance, leveraging research and insights to identify and target relevant demographics optimizing creative material and partnerships.
• Spearheads the selection, RFP process, and negotiations with external partners and agencies in the development of creative ideas and asset production.
• Work closely with multiple departments such as Omnichannel, Peacock, Marketing, PR, Graphics, Digital, Programming, Studios, Operations and Creative leaders in order to align messaging and provide strategic guidelines.
• Lead brainstorm sessions with his/her team to foster fresh and innovative ideas.
• Accountable for creating a positive, energetic, fast paced creative atmosphere where ideas flow constantly while work is delivered on time and within budget.
• Directs work of in-house and out-of-house creative and digital producers, editors, designers, animators, sound designers, etc.
• Constantly researches industry trends, case studies, social media / digital initiatives to stay up-to-date and bring new ideas to the campaigns and inspire the team.
• Ability to supervise the production of live action shoots. Assess casting, wardrobe, art direction, and director´s proposals.
• Works closely with Production team to ensure high-quality, cost effective and on-time outcome, regarding production of live action shoots.

Qualifications/Requirements
• Minimum of seven years of experience at a streamer, network, brand or creative agency marketing direct-to-consumer products
• Demonstrated creative leadership abilities
• Strong organizational and project management
• Solid background in social media
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent creative and copywriting skills in Spanish and English
• Excellent business acumen and consistent track record of creating and presenting senior management-level presentations
• Strong understanding of the production process from conception, pre-production to post production for multiplatform campaigns and sustaining efforts.
• Demonstrated experience in leading the creative of original shoots for campaigns working closely with the Operations / Production team.
• Experience managing a team in a creative environment; possesses strong communication skills, team management and team building skills
• Strong production and creative presentation skills.
