Job Description

Role Purpose:

The Director Global Process Owner Record to Report (R2R) will form part of the growing Global Process Owner Record to Report (GPO R2R) function within the Global Finance Operations group as part of NBCU Global Controllership. You will work with colleagues from across finance and technology to design, deploy, and support global finance transformation initiatives. In this role you will both lead, and support, key transformation projects across GFO and NBCU to drive standardization, centralization, and the automation of our R2R processes.

Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic thinking based on your expertise to drive enterprise wide transformation initiatives.
• Act as a change agent bringing new ideas to the table and driving real change that delivers value.
• Work closely with the GFO R2R team to improve processes and performance; support GFO R2R to achieve glidepath targets through continuous process improvements.
• Support our key transformation projects. Examples include SAP S/4 HANA, BlackLine, the creation of our R2R CoE, and/or other projects and initiatives.
• Work closely with the offshore BPO team and Accenture to ensure that all teams are working towards a common vision and goal.
• Design, develop, and deploy new tools and process within R2R as well as reviewing and improving current technology implementations.
• Eloquently and clearly translate finance processes into technical requirements for technical teams to build and deploy new solutions.
• Develop policies and procedures to support our R2R processes and drive standardization across BUs.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree and minimum of 7 years in transformation roles within finance and R2R
• Deep understanding of end-to-end R2R process, as well as upstream activities that impact R2R processes
• Demonstrated ability to clearly explain complex processes and topics to a broad range of finance colleagues
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Deep understanding of SAP S/4 HANA and BlackLine required
• Experience with BPO providers and offshoring
• Proven track record of working on large and complex projects and technology deployments
• Experience within decentralised, matrix organisations would be beneficial
• Resilience, optimism, and enthusiasm are a must

Desired Characteristics:
• Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration preferred

• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
