Responsibilities
What You'll Do…
• Lead a powerhouse team of facility operations professionals across all disciplines including managers, contractors and external vendors supporting operations and construction project delivery.
• Oversee DOT compliance and business aspects of the transportation/fleet team with the vision, leadership, and management necessary to ensure that the proper operational and financial controls in place.
• Review financial reports and process alignment; aligning billing and accounts payable policies. Plan, and implement budgets, developing KPIs which meet and manage OT targets. Manage performance of employees with emphasis on productivity, efficiency, and OCF
• Administer a large operational expense and capital budget.
• Build best practice tools and processes which build near and long term operational and lifecycle maintenance strategies which anticipate needs, prioritize, and maximize investment dollars and drive the best possible operational performance.
• Conduct Fleet analysis to maximize utilization of owned vehicle fleet to meet intercompany production requirements by capturing all transportation requirements for all NBCU Miami based productions.
• Tackle complex projects delivering system reliability of broadcast and production infrastructure.
• Drive value and utilization of Facilities information technology tools.
• Design and plan programs which support a high-performance network of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure.
• Be responsible for and champion safe work practices on all critical systems and MEP equipment.
• Integrate teams and work processes with colleague functions including Security, EHS and other key partners.
• Communicate efficiently with clients, executives, and major stakeholders to ensure needs are proactively gathered, expectations properly set and met, and that priorities and dollars are balanced across the larger Operations and Technology organization.
• Identify and communicate long term operational best practice objectives and then help guide short term projects and decisions to help constantly navigate towards long term goals.
• Coach and develop team members, ensuring teams are positioned for success in managing their tools, equipment, and responses.
• Be a critical member of the incident response and business continuity team, accessible 24x7 for power outages, natural disasters (i.e. hurricanes, tropical storms) or other matters requiring immediate attention.
• Review vendor proposals, contracts, and preventative maintenance programs, along with other critical contracted services, to help insure the best possible service and programs are in place.

• Communicates with ease- You have a way with words. You can build and present compelling business cases at the senior leadership level and you have expert negotiation skills.

Qualifications/Requirements
• 4-year college degree in related field
• 7+ years of experience leading complex facility operations and the internal and external team's that deliver them in a relevant industry
• Strong understanding of the principles of environmental stewardship, including energy and water use, recycling, air quality, etc.
• Expert in the technical aspects of facilities management including MEP infrastructure, office interiors, BMS operations, and general operations
• Proven track record leading a transportation team
• Strong contracting experience and ability to identify and negotiate complex terms and language in construction and vendor contracts
• Strong foundational knowledge designing and managing both facilities helpdesk and work order management systems, including the reporting they generate
• Ability to navigate through very complex situations and personalities
• Ability to be on call for emergency services as needed
• Ability to work in the greater Miami, FL area
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

• Must be willing to work late evenings, and occasional holidays or weekends per business need
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

Desired Characteristics
• Master's degree or advance industry certifications
• Professional designations such as FMP, CEM, PMP
• LEED accreditation
• Smart Building, building automation & plant experience
• Geographic knowledge of the Miami, FL area preferred.
