Job Description

The NBCU Cable Entertainment Operations Director is responsible for leading and managing team initiatives, partnering with leaders across NBCU and seeking out best practices for our teams. Champion the improvement of our tools, workflows and systems. Embrace the pioneering spirit.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support, lead and implement consistent processes and best practices across a variety of marketing disciplines
• Orchestrate training sessions for teams across our new tools and systems
• Become an expert and champion our communication tools and systems (including but not limited to Slack, Airtable, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Shift, Frame.io, Source Audio, Stock Footage/Image and Font Foundries, etc) 
• Partner with the VP of Post & Operations to implement processes and best practices
• Review, (co-) author and maintain legal agreements and vendor set up rules and regulations
• Develop relationships with diverse external creative and production partners who can elevate the overall profile of the network and the quality of output
• Seek out partners across the NBCU org to audit and learn their operations and glean the best practices for the cable teams
• Partner with the Post-Operations team to align on tools, best practices, processes and workflows
• Assign team members projects, identify stretch opportunities
• Grow, develop and diversify our vendor/agency creative pool
• Partner with Content Security team to understand and implement best practices internally and with external vendors
• Foster healthy relationships with team leads across all disciplines
• Manage special projects as needed
• Mentor junior staff
• Contribute to office related events to foster a positive, inclusive environment

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years of experience working at a cable or broadcast network

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Willingness to work overtime, and on weekends with short notice

• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $120,000 - $165,000 (bonus eligible)
