For almost a century, Universal has been known for its diverse slate of films, including classics such as Jaws, the Jurassic Park series, Mamma Mia, Fast and Furious and Bourne. UPI owns and operates direct theatrical marketing and distribution of feature films in many locations around the globe including Austria, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Switzerland and UK & Eire. In other territories UPI market and distribute movies through its JV offices, as well as in select territories, licensees who are contracted to distribute on UPI's behalf.
Job Description
We are currently looking to hire a Digital Trainee for at least 6 months (with the possibility to be renewed for a total duration of 1 year) to support our Marketing team within Universal Pictures International Spain, based in Madrid.
Reporting to the Head of the Digital area, they will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of an innovative and high-impact digital strategy across Universal's varied slate of releases in close collaboration with all marketing areas (Publicity; Media; Promotions & Trade). The Digital Trainee will also assist in ensuring that the strategy is executed accurately, timely and with maximal excellence.
They will contribute to define lines of action and achieve campaign objectives within the digital area through digital partnerships, social media activity, branded content creation and influencer related activations.
Assisting in the development of the Digital Plan, understood as the best digital strategy to make sure that both the Studio and its different releases stand out.
• Identify new opportunities offered by new technologies and platforms.
• Translate campaign objectives into a well-defined digital strategy.
• Assist in the supervision, implementation and execution of the Digital Plan working closely with agencies, partners and Head Office.
• Supervision of the management of Universal Pictures' social channels.
• Responsible for the maintenance and development of Universal Pictures' main site and landing pages for their respective releases.
• Analysis of results based on established KPIs.
• Administrative tasks, including but not limited to, coordination of meetings, preparation of reports and presentations, review of contracts & agreements, budget control and purchase order generation.
Qualifications
• Proactive, communicative and a strong team player.
• Excellent criteria to stablish priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Experience in Digital marketing.
• Analytical, organizational and creative skills.
• Proactivity & teamwork, as well as great communication skills, will be highly valued.
• High level of English, both spoken and written.
• University Degree; the studies must have finished less than 3 years ago. University Diploma or Certificate will be requested.
