Responsibilities
As a Converged Planning Manager, you will directly manage a team of Planners. The role of Planning Manager will be to lead the team by focusing on creating compelling media plans to drive revenue to the organization while ensuring all existing campaigns are properly managed.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Directly manage a group of Planners, helping them with: Plan building, Rate approvals, and Campaign execution.
• Responsible for preparing, reconciling and issuing reports on key portfolio sales metrics (such as cash pacing, sell out, liability pacing, options, etc.) on a weekly basis
• Analyze areas within the sales/planning workflow that can be improved, create process enhancements that eliminate any bottlenecks or barriers to entry.
• Work together with other managers and upper management to manage ratecards; including year over year analysis, creation of and releasing, for all Sports networks
• Develop data extract and analysis routines using Ad Sales reporting tools to support strategic planning and monetization management
• Work with Ad Ops to improve the delivery of Ad campaigns. Assess risk and come up with creative solutions to ensure that all Ad campaigns deliver in full.
• Liaise with Site and Production Teams and Marketing Team to derive sponsorship price tags for all go to market opportunities on select properties.
• Work closely with Planning Director(s) and Vice President(s) to tactically drive company-wide goals and initiatives.
• Responsible for Sports Portfolio sales reporting
• Collaborate with Sales Solutions & Finance to develop custom reporting needs and implementation
• Analyze portfolio performance against trends and budget objectives to drive financial performance
• Assist in ad hoc projects and tasks
• Handle any and all ad hoc requests that may surface in a timely, efficient manner.
• Track ongoing projects
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
• 5+ years of online experience in digital media planning.
• 18-24 months of related experience in media sales/buying or finance
• Strong Microsoft Office skills in PowerPoint and Word with superior ability to use Excel for manipulating and presenting data, including the use of visual tools to create and deliver meaningful presentations to a diverse group of business partners
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• Willingness to travel and work overtime
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
