Job Description
Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Manager of Systems Platforms, the Business System Analyst will work closely with Golf Channel's digital businesses, partners, and technology team members. This role will be a key position in the growth and maintenance of all product and technology aspects of our services through activities that include;
• Working with Business Product managers, stakeholders and technology teams on product priorities and responsibility for development of technical product specifications for our platform.
• Analyzing data and trends and proposing product and service changes. Using data and automation, they support the business with AML, PCI and other required governance of the platform.
• Managing small projects from inception through completion, coordinating with engineering, QA, product managers and teams.
• Providing clear communication to requesting parties on the status and resolution of their request.
• Evaluating business problems and revised operational procedures to identify potential enhancements to assigned systems to meet changing business requirements using technical expertise.
• UAT/quality testing of changes to the platform applications.
• Serving as a technical liaison between the business users and engineering team for all support issues.
• Conducting necessary training of end-users.
• Preparing necessary documents to support clients in understanding the data and workflows, procedures, processes, scope and objectives.

Qualifications/Requirements
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a comparable role.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant technology/ business related discipline.
• Demonstrable good working knowledge of SQL, general understanding of network, data processing and reporting systems.
• Technically savvy and comfortable working both with business and engineering teams.
• Experience in gathering system requirements.
• Excellent writing and documentation skills.
• Experience of working in a collaborative, team-driven engineering environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. with strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Desired Characteristics
• Experience as support analyst /account manager in consumer-facing software products or services is preferred.
