Job Description
Responsibilities
The Business Intelligence Manager will be responsible for database architecture, data reporting maintenance, data reporting optimization, data governance, and data quality assurance for various reports, dashboards, and other tools used by stakeholders at Telemundo (including but not limited to executives). This role will be part of a multi-faceted Decision Tools & Analytics team responsible for providing business intelligence and support across varying functions, including Operations, Programming, Marketing, and Finance/Revenue Management.

Job Duties
• Works with Vice President, Decision Tools & Analytics and Director, Cross-Platform Analytics to scale enterprise-wide best practices and approaches with respect to data management and business intelligence reporting
• Develops and maintains relationships with other key stakeholders, department heads, and executives as needed.
• Manages all reporting, analysis and visualization for key functional areas, including Programming, Marketing, and Research
• Manages and maintains data pipelines between data warehouse platforms (i.e. Snowflake), data sources (i.e. Nielsen, comScore, Adobe), and data reporting dashboards.
• Employs data governance methods to ensure that all data reporting is up to date and accurate
• Proactively looks for improvements in data collection and standardization of disparate datasets
• Educates and trains client teams to retrieve and interpret recurring reports
• Acts as a subject matter expert and escalation point for the day to day operational activities across the landscape of reporting and analytics applications utilized by the business
• Manages relationships with data providers and vendors/suppliers as needed
• Performs other data reporting and governance tasks as needed

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred, in in a quantitative field such as Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, MIS or related field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience data analysis and database management
• Minimum 5 years of experience with reporting packages, databases, ETL frameworks and demonstrated aptitude with technical systems and dealing with disparate data sources
• Must have advanced knowledge of data warehouse systems, including Snowflake
• Must have advanced knowledge of SQL
• Must have advanced knowledge of data visualization platforms, including Tableau
• Demonstrated expertise using Microsoft Office applications including Excel (including pivot tables and macros) and PowerPoint
• Exhibits knowledge and/or technical experience regarding data models for database design development
• Exhibits functional knowledge of statistical concepts (simple linear regressions, what-if scenarios, statistical inference, probability theory)
• Must have strong communication skills

Additional Job Requirements
• Willingness to work flexible hours including late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment
• Must be willing to work in the greater Miami, Florida area
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID_19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or must undergo regular COVD-19 testing if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite.

Desired Characteristics
• Some proficiency in Spanish is a plus
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy
• Prior experience in Advertising or Media & Entertainment industries is a plus
• Familiarity with Nielsen broadcast TV audience measurement is a plus
• Familiarity with digital reporting tools (i.e. Adobe, Comscore) is a plus
• Familiarity with social listening tools (i.e. Shareablee, Netbase) is a plus
• Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a cross functional team in a dynamic environment
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, dead-line driven environment
• Accustomed to working in a team and collaborating with all levels within the organization, including department heads and executives
