Job Description

Responsibilities
• Must be customer focused, results driven and comfortable in 24/7/365 environment.
• Install, Maintain, support, troubleshoot and upgrade of all manner of Studio, Control Room and Distribution technologies.
• Maintain, support & troubleshooting of on-air systems.
• Undertake Projects as assigned and ensure on-time delivery.
• Interface with Vendors to customize and design systems as needed for the daily operations of the station.
• Knowledge of Over-the-air transmitters and FCC regulations.
• Documentation (AutoCAD), SOP's as well as upkeep of maintenance logs, documentation etc.
• Well-organized, self-motivated and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be solution-oriented, proactive, and willing to dig to find a sound resolution.
• Must be able to act with urgency, immediacy, and make appropriate decisions.
** This role has a schedule of 4, 10 hour shifts. Currently looking to hire for early or evening shifts**

Qualifications
• Degree in a technical related field or relevant experience
• Experience in a similar role within a TV Station, ISP, media company, systems integrator, Production Company or other relevant industry.
• Experience working in News very desirable.
• Working knowledge of computer-based technologies
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills with ability to interface with all levels of management & user community.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Bilingual (Spanish and English) desirable
