Job Description
Responsibilities
• Organize and manage Meet the Press presence across social and digital platforms
• Generate and pitch new strategies for optimizing the reach of video, text and audio
• Work across the network to identify and develop best practices and tools
• Attract and acquire new audiences and deepen engagement with existing audiences
• Increase engagement during peak morning and midday hours

Qualifications
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience, ideally in a newsroom or fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to use data to inform decision-making
• Expert knowledge of social media best practices, trends and emerging platforms
• Knowledge of search engine optimization and breaking news
• Strong writing skills and editing skills (AP style) with particular attention to detail
• Experience with Photoshop and video-editing software preferred

Additional Job Requirements:
