Freelance Associate Producer, Live Tournament Coverage

Responsibilities

PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

Role Purpose
The Associate Producer, Live Tournament Coverage will lead efforts in providing production support during all Golf Channel Tournament Coverage

Responsibilities
• Oversee graphics production elements for live tournament coverage
• Produce and edit production elements for playback in tournament telecasts
• Write and edit production elements for telecast
• Write, edit, and produce sales production elements for telecasts
• Produce PGA TOUR Primetime
• Responsible for editorial decisions regarding cut down of tournament play
• Assist the team with Research, Clip Reels and Media Logging, and Footage Finding
• Coordinate the shipping of equipment to and from events
• Enter and submit all Live Tournaments Talent/Producers/Directors into Score Talent on a weekly basis for the event worked, and follow up with Finance/HR on pay discrepancies

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Television/Communications, or equivalent related work experience
• Strong typing and communication skills
• Basic computer/word processing skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and to travel
• Ability to have punctual, regular and consistent attendance
• Some golf knowledge
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Good attitude, solid work ethic, team player

Eligibility Requirements
• Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
