Job Description
Responsibilities
Reporting to VP, Labor Relations, the person in this role will provide strategic advice and counsel to internal clients regarding single employer and industry-wide collective bargaining agreements and the National Labor Relations Act, provide legal counsel on union grievances and represent the Company in collective bargaining agreement negotiations.
Other responsibilities include handling labor arbitrations, National Labor Relations Board matters, and other related litigation for the Company.

Job Duties
• Provide strategic advice and counsel to internal clients, including business & legal affairs, creative executives, HR professionals, business leaders, and production teams regarding labor laws and union contractual obligations
• Represent Company in collective bargaining agreement negotiations
• Act as legal counsel in union grievances, labor arbitrations, and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board
• Provide production support for scripted and unscripted programming

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• 2+ years of relevant litigation, employment law, labor law or related entertainment transactional work
• Labor relations experience, including grievance processing, handling labor arbitrations, and matters before the National Labor Relations Board
• Law degree
• Member in good standing of the State Bar of California Bar or member in good standing of another State Bar and eligible to be registered as in-house counsel

Additional Job Requirements:
• Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA
