Job Description

This role is an 18-month project hire eligible for full-time benefits.

The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for evaluating and overseeing the development of enterprise products and architectures on which they were built. This role requires deep understanding of the business requirements and ability to translate the objectives into enterprise products and develop strategic roadmaps aligning to the technology roadmaps. This role is also responsible for technical implementation, and configuration of the existing and new products. This will involve cross collaboration with various stakeholders to identify requirements, proposing and implementing creative yet pragmatic solutions.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to define product vision, strategy and roadmap for the business capabilities.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and trends. Create product specifications, user stories, and other documentation to guide custom development
• Evaluating new technologies and tools to determine feasibility of products for enterprise rollout. Developing and maintaining the UDX technology architecture, ensuring that it is scalable, secure, and meets the needs of the business
• Overseeing the development, implementation process, ensuring that products are delivered on time, within budget, and to the desired quality. Managing product releases and updates, including communication to the stakeholders.
• Providing technical leadership and mentorship to other members of the product and architecture teams.
• Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
• 8+ years technical, enterprise architecture experience.
• Proven working experience as a Enterprise Architect facilitating large business transformation projects.
• Experience with enterprise-level software and hardware systems, such as ERP, POS systems, data warehouses, and high-performance computing clusters.
• Familiarity with network architecture and security, including experience with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and virtual private networks.
• Understanding of cloud computing technologies and experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with enterprise integration technologies such as enterprise service buses (ESBs) and application programming interfaces (APIs).
• Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall, and experience with project management tools such as JIRA.

Education:
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Database Technology.
